SOAP APIs

Microsoft created simple Objects Access Protocol (SOAP) for web communication protocol. At present, SOAP is used to transmit data via HTTP and expose web services. Supports XML data format alone and follows pre-set standards that include encoding rules and messaging structure. Plus, conventions that provide the procedure of requests and responses.
